COOLING SYSTEM
A water cooling system for a locomotive engine that enables the engine to operate at a maximum power level that generates a maximum permissible engine cooling water temperature corresponding to a particular ambient air temperature.
Functions of the Bellows & Metal Hoses:
• Compensation of engine movements, vibrations, thermal expansions
• Assuring the tightness of the fluid piping
• Suitability for High Temperature applications and corrosive conditions
• High degree of flexibility, easy assembly
• Reduced thermal radiation and lower pressure drop capability through the inner liner
• High Pressure resistance and mechanical protection by outer braiding
• Design with or without external insulation according to application
TURBOCHARGER CONNECTION
• V Clamp Ends with metal metal sealing feature
• Built in V End as turned part for holding a seal the counterpart
• Special V-End from high grade of material for high clamping in high-temperature assemblies
• Integrated bend (from own production up to DN 125)
• Bending in corrugated area
