Ayvaz is certified by ASME for its capability to produce in American Standards

ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) is a very well established organization which was founded in 1880. ASME specifies the production procedures of pressure vessels across all engineering disciplines.

ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) is a very well established organization which was founded in 1880. ASME specifies the production procedures of pressure vessels across all engineering disciplines.

Ayvaz’s production is already certified according to the European norms and we hold PED 2014/68/EU certification for a long time. Most of the cases for Power Generation and Energy business general piping design code and production requirements comply with ASME standards especially for projects outside of Europe. This made us re-shape or production structure in accordance with ASME requirements.

Achievement of the ASME stamp is actually a long process. Authorized ASME inspectors evaluate the company in many different aspects containing the following subjects; Design, Material Requisition, Production technics, Welding methods, and Quality control. The preparation and approval period could take years in many cases. But, Ayvaz employees put an extreme effort to get ASME less than six months which could be called as a record.

After the successful inspection and approval process, Ayvaz has received 3 different “Stamp” and 3 different certifications in September 2019.

1. U-Stamp: Production of 1st class Pressure vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII. Div1
2. U2-Stamp: Production of 1st & 2nd class Pressure vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII. Div2
3. S-Stamp: On-site repair and assembly of Pressure vessels.
