At The 2nd Globally Local Symposium Held By Ayvaz, Senior Representatives From Different Sectors Were Welcomed In Antalya

Following the success of the first Globally Local Symposium last year, the leading installation company Ayvaz hold the second Globally Local Symposium this year between 16-19 November at Rixos Downtown Hotel Antalya. 

Following the success of the first Globally Local Symposium last year, the leading installation company Ayvaz hold the second Globally Local Symposium this year between 16-19 November at Rixos Downtown Hotel Antalya. The symposium has the feature of being the "first and only" in its field with its size and large participant mass. Participants in this Symposium included 250 representatives of the gigantic projects and industrial plants from Turkish private and public sector. Within the scope of the symposium, expert managers and academicians in various disciplines shared professional and technical information. The event provided an opportunity for discussions and presentations of advancements in knowledge, new methods and technologies relevant to industrial insulation, fire fighting equipment and steam trapping.

In the opening program of the symposium, Ayvaz Chief Executive Officer Serhan Alpagut, ITU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Professor Dr. Abdurrahman Kılıç, Akdeniz University Faculty of Engineering Chairman of Thermodynamics Department and also Deputy Chairman of Chamber of Mechanical Engineers Antalya Branch Assoc. Dr. İbrahim Atmaca took part.

Serhan Alpagut, who made the first speech, said that they are very pleased with the intense interest the organization has seen this year, and thanked everyone who has contributed to the Symposium. The CEO added that: “We have been producing the industry firsts for 69 years and that we have raised standards steadily, and now we are very proud to introduce and welcome you to the 2nd Globally Local Symposium which is a new 'first' for the sector in terms of its structure and scope. I would also like to announce that we will continue to expand our vision with new firsts from now on.” Alpagut, who also gave information about the history of Ayvaz company and the point it has reached today, continued as follows: “In 1948, the year we were founded, we started this humble journey with just ten people... But today we are a giant brand that has 530 people working only in the central factory, exporting to 95 countries and having 4 factories worldwide. We carry out our sales with 10 regional offices and 78 dealers in the country, 10 regional offices and 252 distributors abroad. We are one of the most exporting companies in the installation sector and are climbing up to higher ranks in the list of Turkey's Second Top 500 Industrial Enterprises.”

The symposium, which was held in parallel sessions, provided 9 different presentations under fire, insulation, steam and ARI-Armaturen topics. Having made the Globally Local Symposium traditional because of the tremendous interest and appreciation of the participants, Ayvaz aims to organize a better symposium each year than before.
